# Visual Automation 1.0.0-beta.6 — release notes

Prepared on 2 October 2026. This version adds plan-access controls. The Publisher invites visitors to the official download page to evaluate it under the included beta terms; no private code or account is required.

- The application identifies itself as the Free plan. All existing local automation tools, recovery, safety controls and project import/export remain included.
- This beta has a fixed Free limit. It cannot activate Pro or Diamond through a setting, imported project or paid entitlement document. There is no temporary paid trial to retain.
- The desktop now checks its plan policy at operation boundaries. The shared licensing foundation rejects invalid signatures, account/environment mismatches, expired permissions and replay of older paid permissions after a newer downgrade.
- Future paid-client integration has a bounded permission lifetime, persistence-before-authorization and terminal sign-out. Production login, online permission refresh and protected storage are not connected in this beta. No user account or payment is required.
- Pro modules/version history and Diamond team features remain future work. This release does not make them available for purchase.

The automation engine, controlled-target starter and existing workflow behavior are unchanged from beta.5. This release was compiled and checked with generated entitlement and packaging fixtures. The Windows/VM acceptance checks remain deferred at the owner's request; beta.5's recorded native outcomes are not represented as new native tests of beta.6.

Read the included, unchanged `BETA-TERMS.txt` and packaged `README.md`. This remains an unsigned, manually updated evaluation build. Existing beta.5 files remain unchanged; an already downloaded copy is not remotely modified by this release.
