Workflow guide

Automate a routine
you can verify.

A report-export example shows how to connect image recognition, an action, and a positive confirmation.

Choose a stable, visible task

Start with a task that has a distinctive ready indicator and a clear completion state. The target window must stay visible and retain its size and DPI during the run.

Capture two different pieces of evidence

Save one reference for “ready” and another for “complete.” Do not treat a vanished Export button as proof that a file was created. A visual confirmation is only as meaningful as the application that displays it.

Build the path

Find Ready → Click Export → Wait Until Complete → Stop. Connect timeout and unknown results to a review step. Add repetitions only after a single cycle behaves reliably.

Test before trusting

Try the success path, a missing button, and a delayed confirmation in a controlled environment. Check that F8 stops the workflow and that uncertainty never silently continues.
